watching 3d movies on the television? I have a electrohome basic tv....i just need to know what to do so that i can watch 3d movies like spy kids 3d for example on my tv with the 3d glasses.....i don't want to watch it as a normal dvd but rather as a 3d dvd...how can i do this? i have 3d glasses...but it's like, in theatres the differince between a regular movie and a 3d movie is like something they do with the movie...on the tv i know i have to change some settings or something to watch it in 3d but i'm not exactly sure what.
What software is used for television animations? I know that tradational animation is made by drawing one picture after another, but it seems in cartoons today that to achieve the lev el of detail and amount of movement that a 3d or other special type of program is used rather than frame by frame animation. If so what are the programs that are used. Thank you in advance for your answers.

I heard from someone that in the next 5-10 years that they would be coming out with a new Television that projected 3d images from a disk shaped object you could set anywhere.Is this true or am I getting my chain pulled.Also what would video games be like if this were true......?

Are there still digital ink and paint jobs in animation left in the US? I was wondering if there was anyone out there who knew if there were any animation studios IN THE US - that still do their own digital ink and paint? I have a Bachelor of Computer Animation from SCAD and specialized in DIP. I have found that all of the jobs of the DIP have been outsourced overseas. Is there still hope of me getting into a digital ink and paint position in the US? I can't believe I went to school for so long and there just aren't any jobs in this field anymore. I know 2D is quickly falling by the wayside and the only 2D really left is television animation and a few movies - The Simpsons. Though I think that might have been 3D colored to resemble 2D. I just want to work in my field, doing what I love, and what I'm good at. I have worked on a couple of movies and tv series as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
I need help in the name of what I want to major in? I want to go to college to get a career in making animation, you know like in Japan. I thought that it was Graphic Design, but that is more for advertisement and stuff. I want to go into animation, but I can't seem to find any colleges that on their list of options say "animation". Why do they have to make it so difficult? Does anyone know what it is? It is 3D design and has to do with film making or television shows. I just can't seem to find anything... Should 3D Y/C under advanced video menu be turned off or on when viewing up-converted dvds on an HDTV? Own an Insignia ns-lcd 26. Also under Advanced Video Menu I have turned off: Noise Reduction - - Spatial Noise Reduction - - Speckle Noise Reduction - - Temporal as well as 3D Y/C I also have the Sharpness turned to zero considering dvds and digital television broadcasts are pre-sharped and it's running though a digital cable. These settings seem like things for Analog video or using analog video cables. Not digital tv signals or dvds through hdmi (digital cable). What do these settings do exactly? Am I correct on this? I'm sure other HDTV and SDTV owners may have these settings as well as other fake enhancement settings.

You would be surprised to see the difference between what you imagine and what Iran really is! In my view, everything is great, if you ignore unemployment, drugs, inflation and air pollution. (Common problems in today's world?) Also, you can't compare Iran today with the Iran you remember. The Shah and the Iatollah Khomini are both some 30 years in the past! 70% of Iran's population is a new generation (Under age 30) without the biases of the past and we've transformed everything. Some people think women don't have any rights in Iran. But in my view, women are overrunning the place. They're very respectful, and they've been the winners in so many cases: They get into the best universities because they're very smart. And they get the best jobs because they can do so many of them better than men. They've got Islamic rights, and that has in some cases made it difficult for men to marry them, because husbands are supposed to buy them expensive things and treat them very well, otherwise women have the right to ask a great amount of money (called Mehr) according to the law, which most husbands cannot afford, so men will be imprisoned.The only thing that women are not allowed to do in Iran is getting into public football stadiums and that's because such places are full of cheeky guys. They do anything from taking part in rallies to singing pop songs.Anything! I've put a sample here. Another funny thing: Your footage about stoning the women who have committed adultery. Have you ever asked yourselves how many years ago that footage related to? Are they balck and white or colourful? But in one case (related to many years ago) the thing that had happened was incest not adultery. Most of those footages are from Afghanistan which was ruled by freaks (Taliban) or the very early days just after Iran's revolution! Otherwise you'd get new footages at least once a month!What exactly makes you think women are treated differently?The way they were/are treated in Saudi Arabia?
