Can you connect a PC to a Hitachi plasma television?

I'm looking at the 50 inch but it says that you need a VGA input to connect a pc to tv

  1. As long as you have the right video card, you can plug it into the TV. Just get one of the TV video cards for your computer.
  2. Hello and one thing I do know about hooking computers up to your television. Use an LCD not a plasma. It is hard on your screen and will prematurely burn it out. Your best bet is to contact a best buy or company that deals in only electronics or televisions and ask them what is best. I'm not an expert but I hope that helped.
  3. If your TV does not have a VGA input, then hopefully, your computer will have an output that will match one of your TVs connectors. You might have an S connector-small round connector with several holes for matching pins. If you dpon't have a separate video card, you canm add one. You need one with a TV out connector that will match your TV. S and composit (yellow RCA connector) are not HD. Component, DVI and HDMI are. I don't know what kind of PC you have, but look at the NVIDIA 7600 series. They're a good middle of the road series of video cards.
