Will a Hitachi Plasma Television explode if I hook up a PS2?

1. It shouldn't explode. I don't think it can explode unless there's dynamite attached to it! But attaching a PS2, that should be fine.
2. No, Televisions are meant for displaying video output (dvd, cable box, video game consoles, etc.). No video, audio, hdmi cables can damage the television/explode it. So, don't worry about hooking up you PS2 to dad's plasma TV :)
