In the upcoming TV Wars, is Laser-Based (Mitsubishi) or SED television (Toshiba) likely to have better quality

I don't see current CRT, LED and Rear projection TV's continuing in to the future -- what truly is likely to be the prevailing/better techology -- the Laser TV format championed by Mitsubishi, or Toshiba's SED technology. They both seem pretty "Hot" -- but I don't plan on updating my 1996 TV until I see a clear winner between thse two new technologies.

1. Surface conduction Electron emitter Display has been in developement for 20 years now..... as has gone no where so far. Maybe CES will change this..... Laser is at least two years away as well. Suggest you get a nice 1080p Plasma display for under $2K. The above technologies will be for the early adapters and will be in the 8K+ range if/when they hit.
